  • Derive, simplify and explain the methodology for calculating the distance of the stars in our galaxy

  • The paper uses the approximate distance of the star from the earth as a criteria to classify the methods used to calculate the accurate distance of the star from earth.

  • The scientific rationale behind each method is explained followed up by basic mathematical derivations of the distance. Unit conversion formulas are presented as it is.

  • Taken up as independent study under guidance of a ISRO’s scientist Yogesh parth, after getting curious on the topic measurement methods from school’s physics curriculum.

Price Equilibrium and the Global Semiconductor Shortage

  • Evaluating the impact of silicon shortage on the price equilibrium of semi-conductors or "chips"

  • The research paper, uses 4 criteria to divide the pandemic into 3 stages

  • Within each stage, I look into factors defining the demand and supply curves, movement along those lines and their impact on the price of the chips and the final products

  • It also looks into the launch of PS5, stock out delays and resale pricing fluctuations

  • Written in extension to CBSE school project with guidance from Grade 11 Economics Teacher Ms. Richa Aggarwal
